Chicago Harbor Lighthouse

The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble. (Psalm 27:1)

For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11)

This is a very busy week for me. I have the privilege of speaking for our church’s annual ladies tea this weekend, so I haven’t had much time to write.

But I didn’t want to leave this day without posting some pictures of a lighthouse my husband and I visited a few years ago–Chicago Harbor. It is located at the end of a jetty near Navy Pier–at the mouth of the Chicago River.
