  1. Amen! I love those constant conversations with my Father :). It’s so much easier to do ‘without’ other things when I’m filtering my needs and wants through a conversation with my Father.

  2. I love knowing I’m not the only one talking to myself! While going through cancer treatment with my son I learned to just talk to God throughout the day because I couldn’t really concentrate for a “worship” and I’ve kept that. Pray without ceasing….ove it!

  3. Thanks for this reminder. It is hard to grumble and pray, praise, and trust at the same time.

  4. I used to think something wasn’t officially prayed for until I had done so during my quiet time – but then realized I could bring up anything with my Father all day long. What a blessing!

I think we try to make the Christian Life too difficult. It’s not supposed to be a burden! Christ came to set us free. Praying throughout the day as the Holy Spirit leads is just one way. 🙂

Oh, Robyn … it is … I think this is one of those muscles that takes a long time to make strong.

  7. Yes. I need to keep my focus on Jesus and pray throughout the day. That would probably keep my mouth in check! 🙂

  8. Ah yes – that lovely ongoing conversation that lasts throughout the day and into the night! Love it!

  9. Pray without ceasing = “never say amen!”

I love what Brother Lawrence said … Practicing the presence of God. Sounds like you know Bis presence well.
