Thanks for coming by, Joanne. 🙂

  3. Oh Dianne I love how you wrote this, I can only hope that in many years from now we all still love our husbands as your MIL loves hers.

They are a sweet couple, indeed. In fact, their 70th (!!) wedding anniversary is next month. Thank you for reading and enjoying this so much. <3

  5. This is so beautiful, Dianne! When I’m feeling grumpy with my husband or my students or my kids, I’ll remember to ‘talk ’em up’ to someone else–after all, they really are pretty amazing!

  6. Dianne, what a beautiful story! It’s amazing how our OWN words influence us! I like what Anita said above, we’d better “talk ’em up” when we’re irritated! I’ve had a morning of things gone wrong that didn’t go like I planned, so I’m going to start praising God OUT LOUD right now!

  7. Dianne Thornton says:

Just a change of perspective, isn’t it Anita!

  8. Dianne Thornton says:

Yay! I’ll praise God right along with you!!!
